Introducing the profession of counselling and Methodical Empathy to Slovakia. Encouraging people to become their own leaders, teachers and healers.
What is COUNSELLING? One of the newest professions in the world, just before IT and AI, created by Carl Rogers in 1951, is still a cutting edge in the evolution of human consciousness.
A truly trained professional counsellors who deeply understands his/her own vocation – assumes that in every human being there lives a potential for further development and a deep inbuilt desire for ‘self-actualization’, personal development, self-fulfilment and growth. The role of the counsellor is to empathise with the person’s present situation and, at the same time, with that innate desire for personal development, and to create new bridges between the two.
Counselling is now a new profession in Slovakia, introduced by Skola Empatie (the Slovak branch of Psychophonetics Institute International) since 2013, being taught in Bernolakovo (Bratislava) and in Kosice. Psychophonetics approach to counselling enables the development of ‘Methodical Empathy’, the major skill required for professional counselling.
Our approach will be introduced and demonstrated in this seminar.
