‘INNER CHILD – INNER ADULT’ – PSYCHOPHONETICS ATTACHMENT THEORY & PRACTICE
The Incarnating Child, the Future Adult, Magnetic Projection and the emerging human ‘I’
The seminar is a part of the Second Year in Psychophonetics but is open for public as well.
Online ZOOM
Attachment Theory is a relatively late development in mainstream psychology, created by John Bowlby in the 80’s, suggesting that children come into the world biologically pre-programmed to form attachments with caring others. In an ideal parental care ‘Secure Attachment’ would be formed, but when disrupted – disorders and trauma are being formed, distorting future relationships.
The phenomenological observations at the foundation of attachment theory are profound but its explanation cover this phenomenon only partially: It ignores the complexities of the incarnating child, pre-birth reality, the longing for its architypes and the implications of it all for recovery.
In Psychophonetics we call the whole range of processes for overcoming attachment disorders: ‘Inner Child & Inner Adult Work’. We approach interpersonal reactions and projections in adult life, active in most people, as the outer implications of attachment disorders. We regard them all as powerful opportunities for real personal development, healing and transformation.
The child is arriving progressively from the spiritual world of archetypes in which all its needs are perfectly addressed. Earthly adults are expected to represent these, but perfect ‘secure attachment’ does not exists on this planet. We have to work towards it consciously, for ourselves and for our children.
