Nobody chooses his mother in law and very few choosing their boss. They come with the karmic package: You cannot change them.
But you can change the following:
- Your boundaries with them;
- How much you take them to heart;
- How much you let them provoke in you old figures from your life (oppressive, father, manipulative mother);
- How much you feel that you need their approval;
- How much time and energy you waste on reaction to them.
The main point: don’t take them home with you.
