Topic
Of all the forms of child abuse that people suffer from for the rest of their lives – child sexual abuse occupies a particular, lasting destructive position. All forms of child abuse have a damaging effect on the rest of people’s lives: physical abuse damages the safety of the soul in the body; neglect abuse can result in chronic weakness and mistrust in life; emotional abuse can create a lasting low self-image and blocks to expression. Childhood sexual abuse creates a lasting block to the natural gradual process of the ‘incarnation’ of the human soul into one’s body and life.
But recovery in adulthood from all these forms of abuse and more – is possible for the strong resilient human spirit. This can be assisted by a skilled counsellor.
